Aiphone LEF-5C Overview
The LEF-5C 5-Call Semi-Flush Mount Master Station from Aiphone is a selective-calling open-voice style master station, used to answer calls from other remotes or masters. The LEF-5C can be part of a larger system with the ability to communicate with five other stations, and make an All Call and/or receive background music (requires All Call/Chime Adapter, available separately). The master station flush mounts into a wall.
Incoming calls from a sub or door station are annunciated with a momentary electronic mono-tone and an LED that remains lit for approximately 20 sec. Communication at the calling master is press-to-talk, release-to-listen, and hands-free at the receiving station. The person at the master station can selectively call and talk with a person at any other sub or master station in the system.
