Bella Tono Studio Body The Bella Tono line of acoustic guitars are the result of concerted efforts by Washburn’s design team to build an instrument with refined design and taste combined with premium sound and exceptionally comfortable playability. Each Bella Tono model features Washburn’s Studio body shape, which was carefully designed specifically to retain the best attributes of a full-sized body, while delivering the best attributes of a smaller body. Petite in dimension, the body delivers a rich and full voice with clarity and projection while retaining the tight focus of a smaller body. This refined body is matched up with a comfortable modern neck profile and a long list of visually striking upgrades, resulting in a beautiful and great-sounding guitar that you will love. Elegant Features The Allure SC56S features a gorgeoussolid spruce top and select acacia back and sides pairing. The ebony fingerboard is comfortable, durable, and stylish, and the soundboard is adorned in abalone for both the rosette and purfling, while the arm rest is bound in maple. The lush appointments continue with a beach island scene, depicting a palm tree and birds in flight, inlaid in stunning abalone and turquoise. Chic die-cast gold tuners and quarter-sawn scalloped bracing complete the design. The solid spruce top helps define sonic nuances throughout the entire register of the instrument. Its full 25.5″ scale length extends an undeniable familiarity to the player and the satin-finished modern C profile of the mahogany neck is smooth and cozy feeling in the hands. Electronics Onboard In an attempt to truly check off every box expected of a flagship instrument, the attractive Allure also distinguishes itself with quality onboard electronics in the form of a Barcus Berry preamp and pickup system. These electronics enable the SC56S to be perfectly at home onstage or in the studio, and allow for control of tone (bass, mids, treble, and presence) as well as volume. A handy chromatic tuner is also included, featuring a bright and clear LCD screen as a tuning aid.
